Return Of The Womble

OK, so why does a guy who’s been blogging consistently for eight months suddenly stop ? The urge just left me. I became preoccupied with other stuff.

In the past few weeks I’ve been made redundant, been offered another job in the same organisation, been looking for jobs elsewhere, found one and turned it down, and have been generally navel gazing and introspective (no change there then, as Mrs Womble on Tour would say).

It’s been a pity really, because it’s been a good time to be a political blogger, what with the socialists getting stuffed in the polls, London electing an idiot as Mayor instead of a crook, a member of the Shadow Cabinet taking a stand for our freedoms and the Irish doing us all a favour.

It’s made me realise how hard it must be for people who write for a living. They have to keep going, no matter what else they’ve got on their minds.

Anyways, I’m back on the air. At least, until the next personal crisis breaks…
