I don't often moan about activities in the private sector but just to show the socialists I'm an even handed kind of guy tonight's complaint is about Compaq.
A few days ago I had a computer blowout (which might itself have been down to Windows Vista - thanks Mr Gates - so needed to rebuild it from the image stored on the hard disk. That meant basically taking it back to its first incarnation - it now thinks it's a brand new computer, and I keep getting the Registration box appearing.
It doesn't seem to matter what I do. I've tried telling it not to remind me anymore, andI've even tried registering. when I've done that it's even thanked me for doing so. And stil lthis flipping box keeps coming up.
